The builder (Brad Walker) started woodworking in the 1990s by rebuilding a canoe. From there his passion for woodworking took off. He has focused on works including custom made furniture, cedar strip canoes, and mahogany and cedar strip kayaks.
His custom-made furniture includes coffee tables, hall tables, couch end tables, kitchen hutches, pantry cupboard units, blanket chests, bedroom end tables, desks, benches, Adirondack chairs and garden planters. The furniture is made in two distinct styles. The first style is the contemporary style similar to shaker design with a simple form, straight lines and a clean contemporary look. This style is mostly made from pine and pine laminate.
The second style is the rustic country design or farmhouse style. This is both functional and with a rustic look. The farmhouse style furniture is built with a combination of new and reclaimed wood to highlight the piece.
